Parking air conditioners are also called as no idle air conditioners, or 12V dc air conditioner or 24 volt dc air conditioner, and as its name said that the vehicle engine is parking, no idle, 12V or 24V with direct current. Usually the oem ac in the truck or other heavy vehicles rely on the engine for cooling. But for parking air conditioners, it rely on the truck battery for cooling. So even when engine is off, the ac can still work.
Important note:
Some customers may ask that what if the ac consume off the battery electric? How could I turn on the engine again?
Please don’t worry about it. All of our parking ac has the low voltage protection device. When the voltage is too low to turn on the engine, then the ac will be off automatically.
Good question. You can imagine... almost all the small operator cabins can use the parking ac. But most of customers install it for different kinds of trucks and camper vans retrofit.
